• Delivering home inspection agreement links and requesting electronic signatures prior to inspections.
• Sending completed inspection reports via email and SMS to home inspection clients.
• Sending appointment reminders and inspection-related notifications via email and SMS.
• Maintaining electronic records of signed agreements for legal and compliance purposes.
• Enabling licensed home inspectors to manage their inspection workflow.

4. SMS Messaging

HomelyInspector sends SMS messages to home inspection clients on behalf of licensed home inspectors. By providing your phone number and signing the Home Inspection Consulting Agreement, you consent to receive SMS messages related to your inspection, including agreement links, report delivery notifications, and appointment reminders.

Message frequency: Typically 2–5 messages per inspection.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your information is shared only in the following limited circumstances:

• With the licensed home inspector who performed your inspection, for the purpose of delivering your report and maintaining inspection records.
• With service providers who help us operate our platform (such as email delivery and SMS providers), solely to perform services on our behalf.
• When required by law or to comply with a legal obligation.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Inspection reports and electronic signatures are stored securely and accessible only to authorized parties via tokenized links.

7. Data Retention

Inspection records and signed agreements are retained for the period necessary to fulfill legal and business obligations. Web report links expire after one year. PDF reports expire after four years. You may contact us to request deletion of your personal information subject to applicable legal requirements.
